Tuesday started off with an early morning Raynolds Pass session to harvest the corn while it was in perfect shape. Super-smooth pre-frontal (30mph) conditions made for long floaty boosts on the ten. I felt like Superman up there - that is until I came across a trail of Grizzly bear tracks. I heard that black and griz were out and this was my first sign. At least they were a day or two old. What would I do if a griz charged? Send It!
After lunch I rolled down to a new spot on the north side of Henry’s Lake. Here the winds were pouring off the Centennials – gusty – and with the deep 50 degree chowder I threw up my 12. That was a bit too much kite but at least I had power between the gusts.
Another snowstorm is on the way and it should be back to fresh powder by morning.
See ya out there,
Noah
