3-9-08 Georgetown Lake

Georgetown Lake continues to hold 8 to 10 inches of lightly packed powder despite the warmer temperatures, with good rideable snow accumulation to play on along the shoreline (The Marina, Governor's Hill, Jerico Bay Campground, etc.). Please be aware of the spring just south of Denton's parking lot, as it has opened up a nice 5 foot diameter hole waiting to inhale a wandering dog or toddler. The ice is more than 3 feet thick everywhere else. - Dan
