02/06/2008 - The Mighty Pine

Postby Underground Kite Sports on Wed Feb 06, 2008 11:01 pm

Nick and I rode the mighty Black Pine today and it was rockn'. The snow is good in areas and a little skimpy in others. Neither of us put any gashes in our boards if that helps. The cornice Dr. Hook talked about is about 12 - 15ft with a huge curl forming.

02/07/2008 - Nick and I went back to Black Pine to check it out and the snow is piling up. The small cornice is at least double in size from yesterday. This storm is forming cornices all over the Pine.
