All the lakes are full and the wind is setting up for at least 8 lakes near Great Falls (90 mile radius)
Two days last week at Tiber resevior on 7M. This weekend looks good starting Friday 20+ wind, 70+ degree temp.Send a note and I'll meet you there? anywhere...

This is off topic but do you have a son named Jermey? If so you may remeber me from the ol' hockey days Him and me were the goalies on the local teams in great falls. I remember his dad was in the paper for pioneering windsurfing in the falls Is this YOU? If so what a small world.

By the way did that kite ever show up you lost at the rodeo?

We are heading to georgetown to try to get some flying in should be a marvelous time.

Looks like hockey will get a boost here in the Falls when the new rink opens next year. Jeremy is in California and still gets his goalie gear out when he isn't making parts for the space shuttle.
Friday at Tiber was another awesome day, 9 meter until 8 pm on the north arm at a campground called Willow Creek just south of Lothair off Hwy 2.
The best launch and teaching site I have found so far.

Next weekend maybe? I think I could get to that spot in ~ 3.5 hrs going the Ft Benton, & Chester rte.

How can it blow all day while you're doing chores & matt your eyes w/grass clippings & then as soon as you arrive at the lake the wind goes to zip

If anyone is interested Ackley Lake in C. MT is a nice smallish reservoir that USUSALLY gets great wind & now that its full has some great launch areas w/ small gravel > sand sites & for newbs like me is swimmable from anywhere
