What length leash to use with Frenzy?

Postby NYKiter on Sun Mar 16, 2008 11:43 am

It was suggested to me this weekend that I use a leash with the Frenzy just in case anything goes wrong. I agree but do not know what size leash to get.

I found two, one 3 ft. another 5 ft. here...http://kitesurfari.com/store/ha.html

I plan to hook it to the black brake handle a little ways up the bar.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Kevin

You should get a leash with a release in the event that something REALLY bad happens. I have a Slingshot (http://buyslingshotsports.com/s.nl/it.A/id.372/.f?sc=2&category=768) but Best (somewhere on http://www.bestkiteboarding.com/Parts) and North also make one. A frenzy really shouldn't need a leash unless you are doing unhooked tricks anyways. The little orange top hat does a REALLY good job of killing the power. When you want to reset the top hat there are little loops at the end of the outside leader lines that help too.
