Hello kiters,

Congrats on the new forum, great vibe.

I live in Virginia, primarily kite in NC where the water is shallow and the wind is strong!

I have been learning to kite for almost 3 years, I got my first lesson in Maui in 2005. Since then I have studied with jay Crawford in NC.

This year I have made the most progress and am totally addicted.

Look forward to sharing stories and information with other kiters.

Hey Triple Threat,

I will accept the mission and recruit my kiting buddies. I have also been trying to grow the number of women in the sport so I'll try to get some of them on board too.

I'm also happy to share what I know and love about my Flexifoils and my Aggression board.

We could definately use a balance of women on the forum - and in the sport!!

Did someone say Virginia kiter? I was losing faith for a while.Great! Welcome aboard! What sport do you partake of? I live in Newport news, but I kite in Hampton . I suppose your into kiteboarding cause I am the only person around here who ever heard of a landboard or kite buggy. peace
