You guys are right on top of it. I'm not sure this is the best place to have this discussion but we're doing it. I couldn't agree more with the both of you that is one of the main reasons this forum got started not only for the fact that is a national american place for kiters to share their point of views but hopefully a sanctuary for people that just love the sport not the brands or the baloney just the real fundamentals of a really really fun wind sport. I try very hard not to mention brands when i post although its not too hard to figure out what I use. I really don't care what i fly with honestly but I have found through some experience what I LIKE that is it just me and what i like. I'm not going to try and MAKE everyone LIKE what I like. There are a lot of companies out there selling gear and of course they want you to buy there stuff thats just fine they've taking the initiative toward making it a personal lifestyle that caters toward lessons and gear I only wish i could do the same.
There is no reason to push one brand all of the time especially when the sport is still in its infancy stage. Its almost like the computer industry it changes sooo fast that no one company can keep up. On the other hand when a certain type of technology is introduced and imbraced by a large percentage of kiters you can't overlook it.
Keep it real everyone and have fun out there thats what its all about.
