Hello from Iowa!

Postby Da Vinch on Mon Nov 05, 2007 8:06 am

Hello all,

The forum looks great!

I live in Glenwood, IA (about 30 mins from Omaha, NE). I run a small shop called http://www.secondwindkites.com

I stick mainly to land with Dirtsurfers and skis when the snow hits. As for kites, I usually have at least one Flysurfer and one Flexifoil Blade in the quiver.

I'm looking forward to trying out a Peter Lynn Arc next - a 13m Venom II should be here soon.

Have a good one!

Joe

Welcome Da vinch, I see you just signed in while Ive been online and I dont know about there, but the forum usually looks a lot better and is more organized. For some reason it seems to be all goofed up this morning. my guess is the maintenance guys were out kiting when something went goofy. Anyway welcome to the forums!!

Welcome to the forums! :) I was actually out kiting Sunday and it seems the forum's CSS file gets messed up on Sunday nights. After a quick refresh I got it up. I almost have the problem narrowed down and I hope that it doesn't happen in the future.

Welcome to the Forum. We're now clearing 500 posts and have a wonderful base of cool guys. The site issues do arise but we'll try our best to get them settled down. We were out kiting :D this weekend and it was good fun day on the landboard i think thats my second favorite form of kiting next to snow.
I love the wind and I love getting HIGH on air.

Props to the Admin. again for taking care of the technical crap. But I guessed it, out kiting while it went down.

Da Vinch

Im Over In Sioux Falls Sd  until the end of November. If you want to meet up in Sioux City, I got a buggy you could try, if you got a place to ride. The wind in South Dakota is Great...It blows hard enough to kite every day, and the flags just look like they are painted on, super steady!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

I appreciate the offer Triplethreat - hopefully we'll be on snow or ice soon. I'm ready to get on the lake soon.

Hello Stace  I see a few familiar faces from the PKF here!
