Hey buzz,

Welcome to the forum :D I don't think canada really has a border between the US. hehe Sounds like you are a experienced kiter and should like the fact this site is closer to your area. NYKiter is near where you like to kite in NY say hi and thanks for coming here.
I love the wind and I love getting HIGH on air.

Hey Buzz,
If you ever meet a guy named alex Grundin up there in the united provinces of Canadia, tell him triple threat says "whats Up"
You ll see him throwing down some mad Montana style on a nine meter waroo up there. Cheers and welcome to the forum! Your welcome here even if you are twenty minutes away from the Unites States....just like in horshshoes, close does count sometimes!

Thanks all for the welcome

There is a border and starting next January, I will need my passport just to go to Plattsburgh, NY: a nice spot on Champlain lake.

I love snowkiting, which I started 2 years ago. I first learned to fly an Ozone Access 4m by myself during 2005 fall. I then bought an Access 8m, for 2006 winter, and then a Frenzy 12m. I must admit this last one was a lot to handle on first year.

During 2007 winter, I was kiting with a Flysurfer pimp, so I tried the psycho3, speed1, pulse and then I sold my my kites to buy the Pulse 7m and 10m, which are awesome by the way. I started in spring to landboard with a MBS core 90. That is another game, but I am getting there.

Mid summer, I started kitesurfing. I took my IKO class. Did some rides with the Pulse 10m. But now it's too cold. I just ordered an LF Havoc 10+14 from the 2007 closeout. Planning to go south during winter. Kitesurfing is just too much a thrill.

So I love kiting as long as it gets me moving.

By the way, my Pulse 10m is for sale. I want to get a Psycho3 same size.

cheers

Hey buzz if you want the forum has a buy/sell spot that was just added you may get more notice there as i see only 1 post so far.

Ground boarding is a funny game isn't it? I call it the most finese and delicate kiting of all the main types of kiting (water, snow, buggying) It really puts you in control for the off season and is actually my most favorite of kiting only cause i can do it almost daily.
I love the wind and I love getting HIGH on air.

I had a nice landboarding session yesterday in 15-25 knots. It was very gusty. I hesitated in which kite to take, I started with the Access 4m, but not enough pull when the wind was low.

So I switched to my 7 Pulse. It was fun since I managed to keep up in the big gusts with the kite. It's just an amazing kite. I really liked kiting with more power as I gain confidence on land. It's always scary :o a bit but I think I made a lot of progress this summer.

I find that my 3rd Winter will be a piece of cake with improved skills and confidence.
