Havoc and Session

Postby Craz Z on Wed Dec 12, 2007 12:46 am

Not much in the Lei area so i'll try to post about the latest kite i tried. The Havoc and the Session. Well both are very sweet and managable kites. Relaunch and flying are quite easy. You pull one brake line and you're gone. The session was just like its older brother the havoc. Very smooth boosts and easy on the arms. Its very versatile and bombproof on the snow. Stiching and material has been beefed up on the leading edge. This kite was designed for snow. One pump system was very crisp and solid and the kite was hard as a rock. Plastic nipples in the super cold well they are all the same a very hard push and they go in. I think they hold air in the cold way better then when its warm (contraction of molecules) Very fun and very good SLE /Lei kite.
I love the wind and I love getting HIGH on air.

Craz

I suppose the Havoc is the 2008.

I bought last months 2 havocs (10+14) from the 2007 clear out, but not used them yet. I look forward trying them now to see I'll enjoy them as well.

Yeah they were 08's Julien Fillion The designer of the kite was showing me all the bells and whistles of the two kites. There is a lot of settings and alot of different things you can do with the kite. I really like how well it responds. You're gonna have lots of fun on the 07's although he has been working on the 08 version for a very long time. I went and looked at the two and it looks like there are a lot of big changes between the two.

Have you got out on the snow yet Buzz?

The 08 Havoc is a dream to fly very fast and very manuverable. The session was very smooth and had superman powers. The depower and the sle make it so easy to relaunch. the only thing that i'm still unsure about is when you cut out and the kite still has a little pull left over. Liquid force is beefing things up for the snow and should be something to look at other than those bells and whistles. :D  :drinks:
