DUBAI? The only snow to ride there is in that indoor ski area, and short of putting some HUGE fans in there,?????No snowkiting :o :wallbash:
I like to stand as close to the edge as I can, because from there you can see all the things you cant from the center.

I wonder if the military could use a stealthy kite buggy to sneak up on the enemy.

Hey Craz, Dubai is like the worlds richest country. Its not a war-torn 3rd world country like its name entails. Its got the worlds only indoor ski hill, a bunch of man made islands that you can buy, shaped like the world, and soon to be the tallest building in the world. I only know from "where in the world is.......Matt Lauer?" Off the today show. :geek:

Hey CrazZ the mil. is probably into it ,but at night .(visibility problem). more water based too ! SEALS damn good idea though, no motor noise. They might like a KITEWING more, cause you hold it in your hands. (not 82' in the air, like a kite)

Weldngod Yeah your right a kite may be visible from the sky night would work good. I wonder if they could camo it to look like the sky ya know like in the venitian hotel in vegas. Dubai is a extremely rich country I saw the indoor ski hill on the discovery channel once it was pretty dumb compared to our big mountain standards but hey at least you could ski year round.

Hey, has anyone considered moving to Salt Lake? I have been talking to JCRjet - trying to scope out some places I can live. Portland is sweet - but I may need a change.

You are close to super sweet snowboarding and mountain biking. There is some snowkiting and kiteboarding. Thoughts anyone?
Just Give me some wind!!
