I broke 100!!

Postby northidahokiter on Tue Nov 13, 2007 2:22 pm

First time for any forum for me!!  Couple ??s for the admin tho from the forum rules. With the bandwitdth and emoticon wasting, are OT posts like this, or say weldngods 666 post, a waste of your time, space, or bandwidth? Im no cpu guru so I dont know how it works. But if so then I will stop with the meaningless gab. Or for that matter if anyone else would rather not sort thru it in the OT let me know. I was just stoked to hit 100 thats all!Props to this forum, its users, builders, and maintainers.

Good job. I've been discussing what levels and what things we can do for high forum users The gold stars are silly but cool too it lets people know your an active poster. Maybe we can have suggestions for something like that?

Bandwith will get ate if we upload things like large pics that are insanely diproprotionate (sorry can't spell sometimes) or wierd uploads like mp4's just large ticket items maybe kite admin can explain better
I love the wind and I love getting HIGH on air.

Small posts like this is not a problem but please try to keep them in the off topic forum. :)

As long as your post is readable and the emoticons are there for purpose you shouldn't have to worry about this one. If for example you are building a huge pyramid or emoticons for the fun of it you will be warned via PM. Older computers/browsers cannot handle hundreds of animated icons and will crash the computer/browser.

The rules are only in place to keep the forum fun and enjoyable.

Grats on the 100th post :D

Man, I was hopin' you were gonna say you broke 100mph in a buggy! That means I can still be the first! All I need is a 50 meter foil, and a landboard from back to the future.( My kingdom to the man that invents that...)

Well how ironic is that, a B.s. post and it gets 7 replies in like less than 4hrs. Even if it is going off topic, its still an active post. How about for active posters, at 100 we get rewarded with a solid guranteed wind day, can u handle that admin? or a sick day call to the boss from Rhett!!

Oh yea and props to weldngod for that budweiser can pic weld he posted, I'm taking a break right now from welding on a door skin on a chevy pu. Been quite some time since Ive had to weld, and its as tough as I remember.
