Wow Buzz thats a kitemare before it even got out of the bag. So what now? Do you or the previous owner have a serial number? Is it insured? Is there any light to the end of this dark tunnel? Hope things come out for you. I know if you have some numbers its like putting out a APB for kites. Its worked in the past specially when a meth head turns into a pawn shop. Let us know what come out of it.
I love the wind and I love getting HIGH on air.

Yeap

the kite was delivered to the post office and they got robbed during the night. They went for cigarettes, but they open my box and took the bag. So I may have to pump this winter, if I don't get my money by then.

Damn Buzz - that's terrible. If they were mostly after cigarrettes I'd say keeping an eye on the pawn shops could prove worthwhile. How many Flysurfer kites can there even be in that part of Canada? Let alone a 10m speed2? It sounds like you're taking all the right steps - hope everything turns out good for you.

I sure hope everything pulls through for you. 1600 msrp for one kite is a ridiculous amount of money for a kite and yes it sounds like you did well but even at 850 is top end for anykite but then again you're getting a 07 model which fits the description. It sounds like you got you're feelers out and hopefully someone down the line bucks up for this mishap. The one and only thing is you may not get it back (highly likely) and 2. You need another kite. I feel for you alot and when sales and deals like you describe come along even if there isn't a gapping hole in the quiver better get it any way just incase. Keep us posted.

Hey Buzz, sorry about your kite. That sucks. Just curious though, what is it about the Speed 2 that you liked over the Pulse? Paul

Hi SpaceRacer

I still have a Pulse which I love, but it's a 7m. Excellent kite for big winds. And fast enough.

The Pulse 10m, was a very good kite especially for beginners, but I founded a bit slow. I wanted a more reactive kite.
Finally I got a Psycho3 10m which s amazing. Its' a nice freestyle kite for intermediate and advanced.

The Speed2 is a more technical kite t fly. Very high aspect ratio. It's a light wind machine, with hugh hangtime. Floaty machine.
I own a special version of the speed2 (Silver Arrow) in 15m made with a skytex material which is about 33% lighter than regular material.
With this kite, you can ride at 6knots. At 10knots, using a snowboard for me at 180lbs, it's a park and ride cruise.
Lot of traction but smooth at the same time.
