Built an aluminum hydraulic fluid tank that goes on a crane. cut pieces , fit up , and TIG weld inside and out. cannot put top on cause I dont have fittings yet... time elapsed 6.5 hrs. vacation time! wind is been blowin all day, I'm outta here. race to the house get my kitebag( full o kites) . off to the beach...25 min. later I'm there . get out on the beach , what happened to the wind ? absolutely nothing. none .. nada... zippo...a freakin' vacuum .... kite crashed in bay :o .... now I gotta wash it ...again.. :x tried another kite ... no launch.... pack up , go home , wind starts blowin like crazy...W.T.F.!!! :drinks: . whine to the forum about how f'd up my kitemare was today. thanks, I feel better now... peace :drinks:

There's nothing worse then working on the job and everything is calm and collective tell the wind starts blowing then you think how could i get everything done so i can blow off work early. then you get ready and yadayada ready to fly dead. I feel the frustration this sport even in highly notable windy areas can go from something to nothing to just dry spells. It sucks man. :wallbash:
I love the wind and I love getting HIGH on air.

I like to stand as close to the edge as I can, because from there you can see all the things you cant from the center.
