dakine storm

it's a seat harness but that doesn't support the back.
I don't like harness that goes too high in the back for the winter as I put in under my jacket.

If you need an harness that support your back (I think more people like this), then it is Dakine fusion

I personnally dont like waist harness.

Anything that is soft I mean really flexible. North makes some insanely comfortable harnesses I think a climbing apperatus would be just as good. I have a fusion, wipika, and North. My favorite is the ease and comfortablity of my north harness. The dakine clips comeout constantly when riding and my wipika served me well in the begining. Now its all about comfort.

To those who know me this comes as no big surprise. I have been totally happy with my Best waist harness '07. Now I have only ridden it one winter and one summer so far, but I have no complaints with it. Also to be fair, I have not ridden any others, but thats whats worked for me. The one strong opinion I do have, is it seems like a seat harness would make toe-side that much more difficult as opposed to a waist harness. Like most things, any new model is gonna be pretty sweet. Just my .02 cents!
I like to stand as close to the edge as I can, because from there you can see all the things you cant from the center.

The north Harness is a hybrid that is extremely soft and flexible but has leg straps that clip in to give the added security of a seat harness. Some of the models have air bladders that pump up for added lumbar support. The stiffness i had with some of my others that i've tried bugged me when trying to do certain manuevers. It also makes toeside much easier cause I can loosen it up alot and allow the bar to slide back n forth.

Here is what I gotta say! Ive never personally seen anybody who kicks any ass at all on a kite ride a seat harness. Ive never seen it in person or on a video.....The pros dont do it! I personally like the fact that my spreader bar can move from right to left, and couldnt imagine being picked up off the ground by a harness sitting that close to my nuts......

That doesn't mean that seats are bad tho. They wouldn't make them if nobody used them. I haven't put on a waist harness so I can't say one is better than the other but I still kick ass sitting in my chair. :D

Hi all

I would recommend a seat harness to people with low back problem...

I don't have that type of problem so far and I ride with a waist harness (Mystic Warrior) on water.

IMO this is the most comfortable waist harness on the market. I just love it...

Is it for water or snow ?
