Which board

Postby terremoto on Thu Oct 18, 2007 2:35 pm

I am not exactly a beginner, but I was wondering people's takes on a board. I have been riding a SS SX 137 and enjoy it. However, I tried my buddies flexifoil 135 and loved it! It was so smooth that I decided I had to get a new board. But before I jumped right in and dropped $700 I was wondering if there were boards that were comproble to the Flexifoil 135. What is the LF Mission 135 like when compared to the flexifoil - and is there a North board that is similar to the flexifoil.

I would like to narrow my selection down to like three boards, demo them, and then go from there.
Just Give me some wind!!

I was pretty interested in what some kite instructors in Hood river told me and the two favorites were the jaime from north and I think the mission from Liquid force. I've personally tried the jaime and it is light years ahead of the piece of dinosaur that my board is which happens to be like a winterstick for kiting Ya know the old school pickle fork that weighs a ton. hehe Defintely try them out. This applies to the gorge but i'm sure many other places are the same but they did a small borrow fee to try them out for a day i would do that before sinking 700 bones into a board that was just ok which i think so far is the biggest rip off in kiting. I'm sure boards are technologially advanced and all but come on 700$$ :o
I love the wind and I love getting HIGH on air.
