Michigan has a northern traverse city group of kiters i'm sure.

If you want to contribute to the US Riding spots here are some things that need to get done:

1. I added some locations for Montana, Idaho, and Utah... If you know how to use Google earth please find the elevations and coords to these locations.

2. If you have been to any of these locations that don't have a description please write a one paragraph description.

3. Post all the names of locations that you know of even if you don't have the coords or description yet. We can always fill them in later.

Lets make this the ultimate guide for finding a place to ride. :) When it gets larger we will also need to start making separate lists of locations based on season, skill level, category of riding, popularity, access etc...

I don't know if this is just a list for kiteboarding locations or not, but I have been working on a list of Oregon Coast Buggy locations. You are welcome to add any of this info to your list. Linky

It's a work in progress and i'll keep updating it as I get more info.

I know that this is vague but when I started researching this sport earlier this year, I stumbled across a site (pretty sure it was a forum) that had a link to a google earth with many a kite location on it. And per google earth, these pin points expanded to give more details such as were to launch and places to stay around the area. Just saying that there is already a map out there......somewhere.

Cheers,
Nick

Wow that is an impressive list of beaches. It doesn't look like they have groundboarding/snowkiting spots though... Should we add these spots to our thread?
